The location for the Pasture to Plate Butcher Shop on 1420 Commercial Drive in Vancouver was chosen for the simple reason that Jasmin and Felix fell in love with "The Drive" many years ago when they enjoyed a beer after a long day selling meat at the Trout Lake Farmer's Market.
The pictures in the shop tell the story of People and animals; grass, sunshine and water; bio-dynamic preparations, flow forms and compost tea; hard work and fun; fattened beeves and Chilcotin Harvest the slaughterhouse; fine meats and the transport to the shop where the Vancouverite can see her/him self in the mirror standing in front of the product, expertly offered by Lorne and his staff.
